Neurotoxin is injected into the masseter muscles (the jaw muscle used to chew food) to promote relaxation of the jaw muscles and relieve chronic jaw clenching, grinding, and pain.

Tox can also be used in the temporal muscles of the scalp to improve chronic tension or migraine headaches.
